The wire mesh surrounding the foam provides additional support for the flowers. The wreath's foldable stand is made of sturdy wood and is firmly attached to the base. The stand is easy to unfold and fold back up. To display the wreath, it is unfolded; for transport, it is folded flat. The wreaths also feature cut lines—narrow indentations in the foam—that interrupt the water column. This minimizes drainage and prevents the upper sections of the product from drying out.
