Accessibility statement
Accessibility information
Below we inform you how our digital service at www.flowerbox.de (hereinafter collectively referred to as "flowerbox.de") can be used by people with limitations and disabilities.
Applicable requirements
The accessibility requirements for services arise from the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), in particular from Section 14 BFSG in conjunction with Section 3 Paragraph 1 BFSG, as well as the Ordinance on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSGV). Services are considered accessible if they can be found, accessed, and used by people with disabilities in the generally accepted manner, without particular difficulty and, in principle, without external assistance.
Description of the service
flowerbox.de is an online shop where Flowerbox GmbH offers its products and services for sale. The products and services can be found via the product search and navigation. Information about the products is provided in the form of text and images. On the product pages, matching and alternative products are offered to facilitate the selection process.
If you are interested in a product, you can add it directly to your shopping cart or to your wish list for later purchase (after logging in). Registration or login as a customer is required before ordering a product. The products in your shopping cart can be reviewed during the checkout process before placing your order. You can then select a payment method and a delivery address before submitting your order.
If you are not satisfied with a received product, you can initiate a return. To do so, please contact our customer service at service@flowerbox.de.
Ways to use our services
At Flowerbox, we are committed to making flowerbox.de accessible and inclusive, so that our services are available to everyone. To achieve this, we implement, among other things, the guidelines of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, with conformance levels A and AA, ensuring that our services can be used by all.
Perceivability
All informative images are, or increasingly are, provided with alt text so that they can be read aloud by screen readers. When designing our user interfaces, we ensure sufficient color contrast to improve readability. Information and controls are presented in a way that makes them easily perceptible.
Usability
Our interactive elements, such as forms and navigation menus, are fully operable via the keyboard.
Comprehensibility
We use clear language to describe our products and on our service pages. Our navigation is clearly structured and intuitive.
robustness
flowerbox.de is primarily developed using standardized components that are optimized and tested for accessibility. During the development process, we use test criteria derived from WCAG guidelines to ensure compatibility with various browsers and assistive technologies. We regularly test flowerbox.de to guarantee the usability and clarity of all functions.
