Eucalyptus belongs to the myrtle family and is the only species commercially available. It originates in Australia, where it is primarily known as a plant for koalas. It is particularly well-suited for containers there, but can also be grown in gardens in milder climates. From May to October, the container plant can be placed outdoors. During the winter months, it is recommended to overwinter it indoors.
